Gingerbread House Template & Recipe

Each year we make a homemade gingerbread house.  We block a night off of the calendar way in advance (so it doesn't slip through) and spend the night watching Christmas movies and making a huge mess in the kitchen.  The heavily scented aroma of baking gingherbread fills our house on one of our most treasured nights of the season.  They are much easier to make from scratch (vs. a kit) than I thought. 

This year, we made a Gingerbread House Village to display at the shop.  We had so much fun making the smaller houses and they were much easier to assemble.
