Eating at home is a big priority for our family. It seems to get harder and harder all of the time. We try to have dinner at home 5 times a week. We all take our lunch (or eat at home - me!) every day... and everyone seems to want breakfast, too. Can you believe that? Oh, and we like to be fairly healthy - nutrient dense, mostly whole foods, mindful of fiber and protein. All of the things.
To make it all work, I have some favorite shortcuts and recipes that I've come to rely on.
Every few weeks, I stock our freezer and pantry with homemade things like chicken stock, meatballs, tomato sauce, granola and protein balls. Having all of these things ready makes putting meals together so much easier (especially healthy lunches for me) and helps us eat at home more often. I've included all of those recipes in this set of cards.
I've also included my ideal Weekly Meal Plan with a plan for the week that incorporates all of these recipes.
The Recipes are printed on 8.5x5.5" specialty paper cards.
