Heart Petit Fours Recipe - Free Download

The classic Little Debbie Cakes were a staple of my childhood lunchbox. 

They are still good!  This “homemade” version (does cake mix count as homemade?) is perfect for a younger baker and the melted chocolate coating is a foolproof decorating method. 

I used our Silicone Heart Mold, which are naturally non-stick and worked great for this recipe.

You’ll notice the ingredients for the cake mix are different than what are on the box.  This is my hack I always use for a box mix to elevate it and add more flavor and better texture + eliminates vegetable oil.
